Aligned partnership with a clear aim toward enduring growth
Our Philosophy
Aligned partnership, shared outcomes.
Intentional aim, growth with purpose.
Focused execution, measurable impact.
NockPoint Capital is a private investment firm focused on partnering with exceptional management teams to build enduring, market-leading businesses. In archery, the nock point is where the arrow meets the bowstring - where alignment and consistency determine the trajectory of the shot. We apply that same philosophy to investing, emphasizing discipled positioning, thoughtful execution, and long-term alignment to drive sustainable value creation.
Kristin Archer
Kristin Archer is the Founder and Managing Partner of NockPoint Capital. Kristin brings more than a decade of middle-market private equity experience, with investment roles at Blue Sea Capital, GTCR, Trivest Partners, and Thompson Street Capital Partners, and has completed more than 20 transactions worth $1.5B+. Her work has centered on partnering with founders and management teams to build durable, market-leading companies. Kristin began her career in Deutsche Bank's M&A group.
Kristin's interest in working with founders started long before her career in private equity. Growing up in a family business and watching her mother scale the company she founded, Kristin saw firsthand both the opportunity and the complexity that comes with founder-led businesses. When the time came to help her mother sell that company, she experienced what so many founders face during that transition: the need for a partner who understands the business as deeply as they do, and who will steward it with the same care. That experience continues to shape how Kristin invests today.
That same emphasis on alignment, discipline, and long-term partnership is what led Kristin to found NockPoint Capital – built on the belief that the best outcomes come when an investor and a founder are aimed at the same target from the start.
Kristin holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MSc in Finance from the International University of Monaco, and a B.S. with Business Honors from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is a CFA charterholder.
